The K-2 Winter Concert was a big hit- Happy Holidays everyone!
Kindergarten had lots of fun learning about measurement last week. We used balance scales to compare the weights of different sizes and shapes of playdough balls. Then we had to work with our partner to make two balls of playdough that were equal weights. We also spent a day comparing weights of some of our favorite Christmas items.
Tomorrow night is your Tigers first home game of the season! We will play Green Ridge beginning at 5:30 with a full JV game. At halftime of the JV game, we will recognize our district champion cross country team. Before the varsity game, we will introduce Beau Fleeman as our honorary coach for the night. Please plan on joining us for a fun evening!
There's still time for December's memorization challenges for elementary. Every memorization earns a prize. However, anyone memorizing A Visit from St. Nicholas (The Night Before Christmas) will get a hot chocolate and watch party! And even though it's long, it can be done! We've already had one student quote the whole poem!

A candy gram is a holiday note and a holiday candy treat. Each candy gram is $1. There is no limit on how many you can send!
If you would like to order a Candy Gram, please fill out this form to order a candy Gram for a tiger student or staff member. Candy Grams will be delivered by Santa's Helpers on 12/20.
Ordering will close on 12/16.
Send money to the Kingsville Office clearly labeled with the purchaser's name. We will not make/deliver Candy Grams without payment. We will take cash or check. Make checks payable to Kingsville Student Council.
If you are ordering more than one Candy Game, you will have to fill out this form for every Candy Gram you order.

School Board Elections
(Public Notice of Filing)
The Kingsville R-1 Board of Education encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 8, 2025 election. Interested persons may file at the front office located at 101 East Adriatic, Kingsville MO 64061.
The filing begins on December 10th, 2024 at 8:00am and closes on December 31st, 2024 at 5:00pm.
Candidates may file on the following dates/times: December 10th through 13th from 8:00am - 3:30pm; December 16th through 19th from 8:00am - 3:30pm; December 20th, 23rd, 27th, and 30th from 8:00am - 12:30pm; December 31st from 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days that the school is closed due to inclement weather.
Ballot placement will be determined by: “the names of qualified candidates being placed on the ballot in order of filing.” An election will not be called for if the District has an equal number of candidates and openings.
There are two (2) positions available with three-year terms.
