Good afternoon Kingsville Tigers,
One more reminder about the Boys Basketball District Tournament this week. There are 3 games here this evening; 5:00, 6:30 and 8:00. Our boys play the 8:00 game vs. Chilhowee. If we win we will play again Thursday at 7:30. All district tournaments are $6 admission for everyone ages 6 and above. There are no senior discounts, student/staff discounts, or family passes. It is $6 for each evening of the tournament.
Tonight our concession stand will be ready to go, our Booster Club will be selling Pulled Pork, and we have a wonderful charitable fundraiser going on and they are running a Sundae Bar in the multi.
The car rider loop on the NW side of the building will be for team bus parking only. And the multi will be open with tables set up for extra seating, and a live stream of the games going on in the gym. Please use the bleachers or the multi so we can keep the front hallway and doorways clear for folks to use.
Thank you and we hope to see you tonight.
Go Tigers!

Basketball District Tournament Info, 2/19 - 2/24
Our high school girls and boys basketball teams start district play next week. With it being MSHSAA post-season play all locations have a set admission fee of $6. There are no family passes, senior or student discounts, or free admission for staff. Ages 5 and under are free.
Our girls play in Appleton City on Monday at 4:30 vs. Chilhowee. If they advance they will play again on Wednesday in Appleton City at 7:30. Girls district championship games are on Friday evening.
Our boys are hosting their district tournament here in Sears Gym. They open Tuesday evening at 8:00 vs. Chilhowee. There will be 3 games here on Tuesday starting at 5:00, 6:30, then us. Again, it is $6 admission for everyone over the age of 5. If the boys win they will play again on Thursday at 7:30. The championship game is next Saturday at 2:30.
We are fortunate to be the boys host site, but with that brings a big crowd. We are using our car rider loop for opponents buses only. Our multi will be setup with tables, and projecting a live stream of the games going on in the gym so before or after each team plays we are asking that their fans use the multi as an overflow area to help keep the bleachers from being packed too tight. When games are going on lets all use the bleachers or the multi to keep things flowing smoothly.
We also have a great menu for Tuesday and Thursday evening so bring your appetite. Tuesday our Booster Club will have Pulled Pork and Chicken. We have a wonderful charitable fundraiser going on that will have a Sundae Bar going in the multi. And our concession stand will be stocked and ready to go. On Thursday our concession stand will also have Cheeseburgers on the menu.
We hope to see you next week!

Good luck to Dilan Grimes, Aaron McClellan, and Coach Crotty at the District Wrestling Tournament this weekend!

2nd grade- Tuesday, Thursday
3rd grade- Monday
4th grade- Tuesday
5th grade- Wednesday
6th grade- Thursday
Fridays rotate- so when in doubt, please send tennis shoes.
Thank you!

Our final home game of the year kicks off at 5:30 with JV, followed by varsity girls and varsity boys! See you soon!

2nd grade has been working on force and motion! We read the book: The Three Little Pigs and students created their own "little pig house". They could create the house however they wanted! Students were put into groups and then became the "big bad wolf"! Their job was to create a house that would withstand the force of the big bad wolf. Students used different levels of forces to blow each house down! This was such a fun activity!

Please don't forget to send in items for our spring parties. Thank you in advance! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0E4DA5AB2CA6FC1-47232113-spring

Do you want to see a teacher get pied in the face!? Donate any amount of money towards a teacher or staff member to see them get pied! Every dollar you donate is 1 ticket in the raffle so YOU could be the one to pie the highest earning teacher/staff. All donations will be going towards Cancer Action, an organization that helps individuals with cancer and their families financially, emotionally, and medically! We will be set up at basketball games, before school, and throughout the school day to take cash/coins - every penny helps this great cause!

Also, at tonight's game, Isaac "Hendrix" Hawthorne will be performing the national anthem tonight, and the pep band will perform the anthem on Monday.

Tonight is a busy night here at Sears Gymnasium. It is alumni night as pur basketball teams take on the Montrose Bluejays, and all alumni will receive free entry and be recognized throughout the night! We will be in the library from 5:30-6:30 tonight and there will be childcare available!
