Thank you to everyone that has donated money for Camp Learn-A-Lot supplies. We are still taking donations of $2-5 to help cover the cost of materials we use for Camp. We are also in need of empty toilet paper rolls and empty boxes of various sizes. (Pasta, crackers, mac & cheese, medicine, etc.)
1st grade got to take a walking field trip to Mrs. Treece's classroom. We learned about what cooking tools are microwave safe and how to read a recipe. We finished by making Chocolate mug cakes.
Kingsville Elementary is planning an Elementary Career Day on Friday May 5th to finish out our testing season with a fun filled day of career explorations and presentations. We were wondering if you would be interested in setting up a presentation about your job to discuss your career and how fun it is with our Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Your presentation would not need to be formal in any way and would only need to be about 20 minutes in length. We are looking for a fun way for community members to showcase their careers and allow the children to have an insight to cool jobs! Please let Amanda Schoenherr at aschoenherr@kingsville.k12.mo.us or Molly Loveall at mloveall@kingsville.k12.mo.us know if you are interested. Thanks!
